On the 26th of June, Round Table Cyprus, Goal in Life and the Cyprus Organization of Disable People organised a treasure hunt through the streets of Nicosia. The treasure hunt took place within Eleftherias square and Nicosia’s old city, with an aim to promote the “Access City” campaign for improving accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as informing and raising awareness to the society.
The program not only included a treasure hunt, but also included basketball in a wheelchair, shooting basketballs with closed eyes and the use of the new ball invented in Greece for football for the visually impaired / blind, in an effort for the attendees to experience the difficulties and the effort made by the disabled to exercise.
