Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) successfully organized the 4th Pancyprian Robotics Competition, Robotex Cyprus after a two-year absence from the robotic events due to the pandemic. The competition took place in October 2021 at Agios Ioannis Chrysostomos High School in Nicosia.

Robotex Cyprus is the greatest opportunity for citizens, students, academics and organizations to exhibit their robotics achievements and gain new experiences around these. ZEBRA proudly sponsored the event, aiming to support and congratulate the commitment, especially of young people, in driving technological innovation despite the challenging measures of the pandemic.

Robotex Cyprus 2021 aims to upgrade the educational robotics sector, to embed robotic technology within the educational process, to upgrade STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) fields and to promote new forms of learning which are nowadays essential. Academics had the chance to showcase their research achievements and students to show their robotic development skills. Organizations and businesses also had the chance to stand next to young people and present their own innovative ideas in the field.

Interested teams were invited to build robots with the help of coach-trainers, in order to compete in the four challenge categories of the competition, using the robotic platforms Engino, Lego, Edison and Arduino.

Following the strategy of continuous education and development, ZEBRA is well equipped to support and implement new ideas within the framework of robotics. ZEBRA has always supported the idea of bringing technology into learning. We strongly believe in the future generation and its evolvement and therefore it is our responsibility to provide young people the space and support to produce their innovative projects.
