The McDonald's Corporation  is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, serving around 68 million customers daily in 119 countries. Headquartered in the United States, the company began in 1940 as a barbecue restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald. 

McDonald´s Restaurants in Cyprus are operating under the name of Family Restaurants Andreou Co. Today, there are 17 McDonald´s restaurants throughout the island, employing more than 700 people and working with a lot of local suppliers in Cyprus. McDonald's infrastructure accommodates multiple hosts powered by Microsoft's Hyper-V. Even though, the hosts hypervisors are based on an entirely different architecture, there are guest machines running Red Hat Enterprise Linux illustrating the stable coexistence of the two systems.
